Carolyn Forte, soprano, is appearing with The Advent Project on our next "Conversation Concert," June 30, 2018.
Possessing a voice rich with warmth and color, lyric soprano Carolyn Forte is a 2017 winner of the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra's Masters Concerto and Aria Competition (Minneapolis, Mn.), and appeared with the Symphony in February singing Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915.
May 2017 saw the soprano in the role of Magda in Puccini's La Rondine with Undercroft Opera (Pittsburgh, Pa.). As a 2016 young artist with Opera Steamboat (Colo.), she covered the title role in Florencia en el Amazonas. Other roles include Mimi (La Bohème) with the Boulder Symphony, and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) with American Singers’ Opera Project in North Carolina.
